Jorge M. Suro
Jorge has over 30 years of experience representing injured persons in personal injury, wrongful death, and employment discrimination cases.
His trial skills, dedication and hard work in state and federal court have resulted in over 35 federal jury verdicts in favor of plaintiffs. Jorge has also negotiated numerous large settlements for his clients. His willingness to take a case to trial, when a settlement offer is not fair, is well known among his peers.
Jorge’s considerable experience includes:
- Appointment to the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committees in several personal injury cases, including the mass tort San Juan Dupont Plaza Hotel Fire Litigation
- Named to the Board of Bar Examiners of the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico
- Guest lecturer in civil procedure, evidence, and products liability. This includes a lecture on jury selection sponsored by the American Trial Lawyers Association (now American Association for Justice)
