Miguel A. Suro

Miguel joined his father in 2011 to form Suro & Suro. Since then, he has dedicated himself to serving the injured and seeking redress for those who have been wronged. He has been deeply involved in representing many plaintiffs in cases with outstanding outcomes, including federal jury verdicts and favorable settlements.

Before then, Miguel was an Associate in the Litigation Practice Group of McConnell Valdés LLC, Puerto Rico’s largest law firm. There, he had the honor of working with some of the island’s leading litigators, and gained diverse experience, both in court and in the office.

While in law school, he gained experience as a law clerk in Saldaña & Carvajal, P.S.C. (now Saldaña, Carvajal & Vélez-Rivé, P.S.C.), a firm with a rich commercial litigation and insurance defense practice. He also clerked at McConnell Valdés while continuing his studies.

His strong academics and work experience at such varied firms allow him to bring a solid background to Suro & Suro. Having had the privilege of helping people and businesses from all walks of life, and having sat “on both sides of the table”, he is excellently positioned to represent the firm’s clients.

Miguel also leads the firm's business and general counsel practices, where he helps clients achieve their personal and business goals.
